His varied experience in construction, from traditional timber frames and restoration to new construction and renovation, has led him to devotion in developing energy e fficient sustainable housing in Quebec. As a certi fied Passive House Consultant, he helped consult and build the project “Maison Ozalée.
A full Passive House and Leed Platinum house retro fit for a private couple on the Island of Montreal. This experience has Made Richard more convinced than ever that Passive House, and sustainable living is not only possible, but very attainable for a wide range of people. He is also very devoted to building to serve the greater community, such as “Les Serre” a beautiful Green house, for a low income neighbourhood in Montreal, and also “Marche Baldwin” two market stalls used during the summer season that hires troubled teens.
